The Ascend Clothing Project is not only about producing clothing, but also growing mentally, phyiscally, emotionally, and spirtually.
To help grow the local community, Ascend will give 10% of its profit to Firehouse Ministries located here in Birmingham, Alabama. The mission of Firehouse Ministries is to provide homeless men in Birmingham supportive services that break the cycle of homelessness and empower them to achieve their highest potential. They offer meals, street outreach, employment readiness workshops, literacy skills, life training skills and a clothing closet to the city's most desperate citizens. They also provide housing for homeless men throughout the city.
